Old times reminisced at the “MILAP”- Dogra Degree College Alumni Meet 2023

Dogra Degree College organized its Alumni Meet in college premises. It aims to reconnect alumni with their alma mater and serves as a link between their past journey at the college and their bright future as professionals and role models within the society. The event began at 11:00 am with the lighting of traditional lamp by the dignitaries.

Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal, Dogra Degree College welcomed the alumni and appreciated their zest to assemble for the meet despite their busy schedule and called for greater participation of alumni for the development of the Institute as many of them hold positions of responsibility in various government and Private organizations. In her welcome address the principal updated the alumni about new initiatives taken up by the college since the college was established in 2008.

Speaking at the occasion, Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister & Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust, said, “We at Dogra Degree College are keen to provide all of our past students a platform to stay connected amongst themselves and also stay committed to the Institute and students across different batches including the present students. He congratulated and blessed the Alumni for their accomplishments and wished them luck for all the future endeavors.

Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust delivered the keynote address and recalled the noble vision of the founder to provide quality higher education to everyone. He appreciated the team of Dogra Degree College for organizing the alumni meet which creates a special bond between the students who have passed out and who have established themselves already in the outside world and further said that it is a perfect platform to meet your peers and teachers and revive the contacts and memories.
